No-poo? I'm sorry, what does that mean!? I don't already have pregnancy brain do I? I really don't think it went away after baby #3.

I'm assuming something along the lines of no products!? Tell me how that works.

LoL... sorry...

No-poo means no shampoo (or conditioner)

I'll quote myself from another post....

shampoo and soaps strip your hair of their natural oils and then you need to use conditioner to put oil back... when you don't wash your hair for a few days your scalp overcompensates by producing too much oil which makes for greasy looking hair and the need to wash hair often and the cycle continues...

By not using shampoo you are not stripping the hair and just letting the oils do their thing... no-poo hair doesn't look greasy at all (once you have transitioned) and I think looks healthier than shampooed hair... also no more chemicals or expensive shampoos...

I think what happened when I went no-poo was that there were no longer products going on my face... the shampoo that strips the oils (not just from hair) and then the conditioner which leaves a layer... (again not just on hair)... so going no-poo cleared my skin...

oh... and here is a thread with pics that I started a few a few months after I started no-poo (wow... I was pregnant with my last ds) ...
