Is there anyway other than excercise to help the fat come off?? I am nursing my almost 22mo and I have major weight issues
: I intend to do clw so that means it could be many years yet before I am not nursing and as overwieght as I am I dont think it is safe to go that long without doing something about it. I need to loose at least 50 pds. Any thoughts/suggestions would be most welcome.

I know that Weight Watchers has a program for nursing moms (they add extra points). Unfortunately good eating choices and exercise seem to be the most reliable methods for losing and keeping off weight. Good luck!

Dr. Phils weight loss plan is PERFECT for nursing mothers. I have lost 50 pounds since my son was born and he is just healthy as ever. It isn't a fad diet and replaces all the junk you are eating with good fruits and veggies so your baby isn't getting decreased nutrition, quite the opposite, but is getting decreased junk.

Can you still eat some junk occasionally
: About the only pleasure I get is eating goodies every once in a while
I guess i would need to buy the book. I will look into that for sure.

I just did weight watchers (I have an 8 month old so definately still bf'ing for a couple more years LOL) and I did the extra 10 WW pts for bf'ing. I lost 97 pounds since she was born and it hasnt affected my milk supply at all.

whole foods. think about how happy your body, and your baby, will be if you increase your consumption of whole foods. with a whole foods diet not only will you lose weight, your nursing baby will have all the wonderful nutrients needed for the best brain/body/mind/spirit development. also key is not eating after 6pm. this is a huge component. try this alone and you will see results.
