Thanks for starting this Kathleen!

I've got a skin cancer check today and other than that, I'll be cleaning the house like mad. DD's birthday party is Sunday - I want the place to look perfect.

What's going on by you all today?

Morning!

So I was hoping to get my workouts done in the morning when DH is having time with DD before he goes to work. But he isn't always consistent with getting up (for good reason - some late nights, etc...) and I really need some consistency here. For those of you who exercise, what do you do to fit it in?

I can easily do a pilates video (20-30 minutes) with DD. She gets her own mat and tries to "help". LOL But I'd like to do cardio alone for safety reasons (I like stuff like Taebo). I am thinking of doing it when she naps but it's also important to me to have some down time then. But it's probably the best solution for now - I just hope to be consistent with it (not my best quality with workouts ).

DH's birthday is tomorrow so DD and I will be running errands for that day.

I stick the kids in our Chariot and either walk all day or go for long bike rides, Kathleen. I can take the kids and be gone for 6-7 hours while we walk to different parks and eat lunch downtown. I'm trying to get the leg muscles built up so that we can bike 10 miles to the beach each way this summer. I have a goal of not using my car until fall. We'll see what happens!

Morning!!

I need to clean, badly. James woke up earlier than normal this AM. Blech. I'm still pretty lazy.

I also gotta do laundry...which in an apartment means walking downstairs with a heavy laundry basket, harping on James to walk down the stairs. He has this game where he lies on the stair and waits for me to 'step on him' and say "Go!" he thinks it is great fun. mama not so much.

Well, guess I'll go speed clean for 20 minutes or something...see what I can get done.

I'm all over that after the summer - we have a fantastic park 3 minutes from our home. But we live in the Valley so it's getting hot - and I'm a big wimp.

I'm thinking of maybe working out right when she goes down for her nap. That way I should have time for lunch and some Days of Our Lives : before she gets up. I guess I just worry about finding excuses not to do it.

Kathleen, I can't even imagine dealing with the temps you must deal with all summer long. We'll have a few unbearable weeks I'm sure - we do every year. But we'll just hide out in the bedroom with the AC blasting or keep our fannies in the lakes.

Morning!

It's DH's birthday today. DD and I gave him his gifts this morning and he's about to leave for work. He is hopefully getting out early tonight too.

Today is a cleaning day and I'm not sure what else.

I am so in need of talking to big people....even if it's virtual. ANYWAY, today we have to go to the store for DH's bday. I am going to make vegan lasagna and dessert for him. So, tomorrow is dedicated to cooking. Always, cleaning is necessary.
I'm trying to refinish a dresser to use for all the clothes that have been donated to dd.
I'd like to make her crib (holding stuffed animals at the moment) into a sidecar. Has anyone done this? Our bed is just too small, and DH and I need to, frankly, "get it on". Honestly. He's cranky. lol

Today, thank gooness, is preschool day. We go to a friends house & do a preschool co-op sort of thing. I went to the dr yesterday because I have a rageing UTI. Atleast I'm not in pain I was in on Monday. I need to remember to drink more water that is what got me in this mess in the 1st place. The antibiotics he gave me give me a head ache too. I guess I am just in a bad mood today, hence the babbleing...so I guess I'll jsut stop here

I'm going to spend today getting ALL our laundry together so I can go to the laundrymat tomorrow. I live in an apartment so I have to pay to do laundry anyway, I'd rather pay an extra $0.25 to wash and get it ALL done in one big swoop then spend days upon days upon days doing load after load after load.

At least then I'm all caught up and can start back doing a load or so a day. LOL

Oh, and I have a m/w appt at 4:00. Gotta get James ready to go to my grandma's. And MAYBE if I'm feeling really ambitious go let James play in the courtyard while I clean out my van. It's insane how messy that van is.

Good Morning! Thought I would join you.

Not too busy of a day today. I need to make some calls and do some laundry. Tonight is gymnastics for DD. I need some dinner ideas too. If I leave it up to DH, he would say curry, but we did that yesterday.

i swear i am going to kill our dog. he chewed up the kiddie pool and i had to go buy a new one and then ended up seeing a slide for ds which i have been wanting to get. so instead of spending $10 i spent $45 but i used a coupon!! we also DESPERATLY need to buy dd clothes. her little belly is just sticking out of all her shirts and we have no shorts for her. not that i can put her in shorts or skirts right now. something in the floor is giving her hives and i am borrowing a super vacume and steam cleaner this weekend to clean it...which take up even MORE time to clean the house! : anyone want to help?

Got the van cleaned out. *phew* that was a task and a half. I had so much CRAP in that van, it's unreal. Sippy cups and toys for James mostly, plus some books and clothes. Yikes...

Got the laundry rounded up, taking it to the laundrymat tomorrow. That should be fun. I wanna go to Tulip Time tomorrow...might make hubby help me at the laundrymat this afternoon so I can do Tulip Time tomorrow. We'll see...

Hi everyone!

We just got back from the dentist and DD has no cavities. Whew! I always get so nervous before those appointments.

I'll be cleaning along with all of you. Her birthday party is Sunday although friends and family will start hanging out here Friday. The carpet cleaners come tomorrow at 3:00, I'd love to be done working by then.

I HATE cleaning the cars out. How exactly do they get so darn disgusting with kids anyway?! It's amazing!
