I couldn't believe it. We went into this cool looking store at this foofy mall here and I hear dh from the back, "There's cloth diapers here!!!" Of course I about pulled a muscle getting back there. Turns out the woman who owns the store also makes a line of cloth diapers! They are pocket diapers:

Bumwear

They were $30.00 at the store which I thought was a bit pricey (to say the least) and while I was glad to see cute CDs for sale in a very mainstream mall I thought the price might put some folks off. Had they been closer to $15.00 I would have bought one just to show support but I had dh with me and you know how that goes, lol.

Anyway, weird.

I've thought about selling CDs at our seafood market. And I've thought and thought, and I just can't get my mind around it. :LOL Seems like *too* strange of a combination... fish and... diapers anyone??
:

There's a local farmers market that is SUPER popular really close to our fish market but they wouldn't let me in.
(Like I need another thing to do anyway...lol)

Amy that's great that you found dipes in the mall! I found some swim dipes in Hawaii at a baby boutique store on the North Shore. I bought one, but they were only like, $12 I think.

Why won't they let you in
: That is crazy!
We love going there at least once a week. Where is your fish market located?

The link isn't working but I will try later, probably overload :LOL.

That's cool you found them locally but I have to agree yikes on the price. Maybe after convincing someone to go to cloth they might spend that much but not as a try it out thing!

LOVE the company name!

Is that 30 Singapore dollars? Because 30 Singapore currency is only $17.48 USD
Yeah, they had lived in another country and that is where they got the hand stamped fabric idea. They also had some slings that looked exactly like Zolos!

It's $30.00 american, it was here at WillowBend mall in Plano...

I want to know what this waterproof thing is. If it was fleece, with cotton directly over top, isnt that a wicking problem? Or am I just not getting it?

They are very pretty, but at $30 that does make cloth diapering a little more aimed at the rich. (ie if my grandma saw that at the mall she would think I was insane to cloth diaper)

was it a botique maybe? Still way cool though! Maybe it is for people to buy for when they have expensive photos done

They may have been in Singapore but they're in Plano, Texas now, lol.

The price tag at the store said $30.00 for the dipe and an insert. It felt weird though. The fleece felt odd... not like any fleece I know and the outer was a little crinkly. The women who owned the store and who makes the dipes wasn't there... next time I'm at that mall I will check though.
