I had my scan today and the baby didn't want to make it easy. Everything is fine that they could see but they weren't able to do the head measurements or check the face (presumably for cleft lip/palate). The baby is lying belly down (if I was standing up) with its head at 90 degree angle facing feet, and jammed against/into the bottom of my uterus - maybe the gap down to the cervix, I'm not sure. Kicking away quite happily but despite stopping the scan partway through so I could go for a walk and then being tilted slightly upside-down, it stayed in the same position. I'm going back for a second try on Friday but now I think about it, all the kicks have been in exactly the same position for the past two weeks - I had one a bit earlier that was higher up but that's it. Maybe the baby just likes lying like that? If anyone has a suggestion to get it to move it would be welcome but given that over the two week period I've done yoga, walking, stretches etc and the kicks have always been same place, I wonder if it will make any difference. I guess if it doesn't move it's probably not crucial, just means that last check can't be done.

At my last ultrasound we did an internal to get a better angle 'cause my little guy was being uncooperative.
