hey.. i posted about this a couple of weeks ago when i started bleeding again after a couple of weeks without. that lasted about two days and i was told i was probably doing too much.

it's been over a week since, and now i'm bleeding again. this is the third day and today it is quite heavy (was just spotting the last two days, and the last time). i'm kinda scared now. is this still within the range of normal possible post partum conditions?

It could be your period returning. I have heard a lot of women say that the first few post partum are very heavy. If you're worried, call the doc. Good luck.

yeah i guess it could be my period, but i bf on demand (like at least every 3 hours), so i doubt it. my period came back after 13 months with my son, so that's what i'm kind of expecting. could be tho.

I bled on and off for 8-9 weeks pp. I bled pretty heavy (and clotty, eww) until 6 weeks then it stopped for a week then came back at 8 weeks for a few more days. It wasnt clotty past 6 weeks though. It wasnt my AF either because my son is 12.5 months now and I havent bled since. I think hormone levels just evening out can cause bleeding sometimes. Is it alot? More than a pad an hour? Then you might need to go see the midwife/dr asap but if its basically spotting I am sure everything is just fine.

i have to just write that i had a similar situation and for me it was that aeice of my placenta was still inside and i wasn't able to heal it was terrible. i bleed alot and finally had a slight hemorrage-bleed through a pad every half hour to hour...I got checked out at the hospital (emergency room) and finally got a sono and they found the peice and had a d and C to remove it. Just wanted to mention this because I was so at a loss for what was wronge for 2 months and I did see my doctor a few times and he thought I was fine.

well.. it is kinda clotty.. so should i be concerned about that? but the flow has died down a bit, to a regular period day kinda bleeding. def not a pad an hour. so that's okay. if it gets worse tomorrow i'll call my midwife.

oh, and i certainly hope it's not part of my placenta! i have it in the freezer.. maybe i should go check!
