Organic cotton/hemp blends? and all for 7-9 dollars? Choice of closure and snaps/aplix? HAND DYED, too? What am I missing, what's the catch, why haven't we bought these?

They do look great, but i wanted to ask her some specific size questions, and i can't for the life of me find anywhere on her site to contact her. Help!
I'll try one out. Free shipping too. Now I must stay away from MDC and save my money.

wow, i think she is paying you to take her diapers :LOL If you buy one diaper you get free shipping (which costs about 2.10 or so if first class, priority more). So take that off the $7 that leave 4.90 for cost of materials and labor and I know that all hemp diaper costs more than that in hemp alone

OMG that is such a deal and I can't buy anything.I have to stay away from this board.I seriously am having anxiety everytime I don't buy a diaper I want to buy.
i have two and LOVE them!

i have a fleece pocket dipe for dd and a tester pull up pocket for ds that he loves - he actually uses the potty when he's wearing it because he wants to wear it all day. i think they're so cheap because she's just starting out and has fun doing it. her tie dye stuff is beautiful too.
Just bought one. You can't be an instant gratification person, though -- says they'll start shipping at the end of June.
I got a multi-stripe side-snap, size M.

Big thank you!
I'm building my stash very piecemeal and low prices are very high on my list of priorities!!! I ordered blue sushi & tan baby moods on hemp w/ side snaps.

This is so true!

I wonder how she makes anything to pay herself? I enjoy sewing but I would rather spend time with my son compared to sewing for free. I was thinking a hemp diaper costs about $6 in materials alone. Add the snaps/label into it as well. I hope no one
for me.

I have two of her dipes and they are the best fitting dipes my ds wears!

She does a really great job.
Well I ordered one--at 8 dollars what do I have to lose?

....um....
8 dollars I guess.

Yeah, even I could not resist! I ordered a sushi one, of course...
Yup, I had to give in and try one. I ordered a bright blue striped one.
Oh man, we have just swamped her!! It's going to be 6 months before some of us see these dipes!!

I ordered 3 of 'em!

Kimberly
Kimbery, that was my concern, too. Make sure you order UP a size if you're not sure.

Tiffany, all these orders might make her raise her prices A LOT! Poor gal. Hope she does ok.
I just today received some pocket inserts from her and told myself that if I want anything else from her I better order fast or it will be too late and I'll have to wait in line... looks like I'm too late! LOL!

Her inserts are just awesome. Awesome, I tell you. Just what I needed - hemp and sherpa combo. And they are sewn together just at the top and bottom of the insert to make them quick dry. So I have my absorbency of hemp, the sherpa to quickly soak up my superpeer, and its quick dry. AND it was only $2 each and free shipping. How crazy is that??? Hooray!

When I received the package, there was an insert that explained how she can charge at reduced prices (in her words):

About our hemp:
I am able to offer hemp inserts, doublers, diapers, and mama pads at reduced prices because I use low cost hemp scraps from hemptraders. These scraps sometimes have stains, and while I try to cut stained sections out, I sometimes am unable to do this. I try to put stained pieces in inner layers where they will not be seen. Using hemp scraps is not only cheaper, but also benefits the environment because we are reusing scraps that might otherwise go into a landfill. If you are unsatisfied with your order for any reason please send it back (prefarably unwashed) for a full refund.

I also try to reuse packaging and supplies whenever possilbe: the tissue is recycled, the twine that wrapsyour order is leftover from my tie dye projects, and even this paper is recycled!.....
