I LOVE carrying DD in the Sutemi and the ABC I made for her in the front carry but lately its tough between us being sweaty and her wanting to grab everything. I tried the back carry with the sutemi but my back was in an extreme amount of pain w/ in 30 minutes. My DD is only 16 lbs so her weight is not the issue. I do have bad scoliosis and always hunch over when i walk`is there a way to help this and make the back carry less painful? Does anyone else have this problem?

I'd like to know too... I'm in the same boat, and Dd is 17lbs at 4 months! I'm taking Tylenol for the back pain daily..

I can only wear her in the front carry cause her head isn't steady enough for me to trust wearing her on my back. I think a back carry will be better for our backs than a front.

I dont have Scoliosis. But I do have Spondylothesis. Osteo Arthritis, DJD, Hurniated Disc and a pinched nerve. I am able to wear my 25 month 27# DD for HOURS with minimal discomfort.

I would suggest getting her as snug as you can. The further she is away from you the more pressure she is putting on your back. IHTH
