So, DH and I are thinking about making a move out west. The northern parts of New Mexico seem very appealing. Can you tell me, southwestern mamas, what it's like to live there?<br><br>
Are there many bugs? Scorpions and the like? What about gardening? How crunchy are the people? How/what is the job market?<br><br>
Any info, positive or negative, would be appreciated.<br><br>
We're planning on travelling next spring to scout the area.<br><br>

hi. I live in santa fe. very very few mosquitos, very crunchy/alternative lifestyles friendly. I love it here.<br>
I had my daughter in the hospital, and they were completely pro breastfeeding and quite used to and respectful of no-vacc.<br>
Also, it's the home of Mothering magazine. If you are more into rural areas, the road to taos (pilar, etc.) is gorgeous and lush.<br><br>
