I was thinking of selling my barely used breast pump. After looking on Craigs list and seeing so many for sale, I thought I would rather it go to some organization that lends pumps to Mom's who can't otherwise afford one. Is there such a thing? I'd rather know it helped a mom and babe nurse who wouldn't have otherwise been able to... than earn a few bucks for it.

Any ideas?

I've donated quite a few things to Baby Corner over on Capitol Hill. There's also an eastside location. I like to give baby/toddler things there because they give them away to moms in need, rather than sell them. That's what I'm going to do with mine.

They also take car seats up to five years old in case anyone needs to get rid of some that are in good condition.

Baby Corner is on Capitol Hill, near Swedish. I think they primarily serve people who have a referral from a social services agency or something, but I'd be surprised if someone going back to school couldn't get help from them. Look them up under Baby Corner or St. Joseph's Baby Corner. If mine weren't loaned out right now, I'd pass mine on to you.
