We have Comcast for our high-speed internet but lately it's been kind of lousy, we get a lot of slow periods and times when it seems every other page just won't load. DP's fairly sure it's not us, he thinks it is Comcast. We are thinking about switching providers.

Info:
We're in Bellevue
We run a wireless network
We greatly prefer cable internet over DSL
FiOS is not available in our area
We have a $12/mo cable tv package and would like to keep it
We do not want $40/mo fancy cable
We do not have and do not want a landline

Any thoughts on other providers??

No ideas, but I'm intrigued by $12 cable.

It's just the "basic" package - we don't get reception w/an antenna, so it gets us ABC, CBS, NBC, PBS, CW, Fox, you know the basic broadcast channels... and the Discovery Channel, for some reason, which is awesome. We also get some things like some news channel, local access networks, lots of shopping channels and a Spanish channel.

I don't think they advertise it, but if you ask for it they will give it to you. It's something like $12+tax.
