I'm not a a crazy watch every game fan (but the men in my family are!), but I am a loyal Dawg fan. The last few years I haven't been as interested in sports and I used to follow all the games. I'm sure I'll get back into it. My husband is from Australia (at the time not yet up on the nuiances of GA football) and on our daughters first halloween he bought here a bee costume and I made him take that thing back! LOL We'll see how the season goes this year. WOOF!

I'm feeling pretty good about the Vols this year. Can't be much worse than last year. I read the open letter from Phil Fulmer to the fans after the disasterous season last year, and he says they've looked at every possible aspect of the team/coaching to see where they went wrong. Fingers are crossed that they made the right adjustments.

Anyone know why Alabama is ranked so low when they had such a great season last year (great in comparison to recent years, that it)? Did they lose key players or something? DH is a Tide fan, and he's going to be less than happy to find out Bama is ranked lower than UT.

Just bought DD her first Gators jersey...hoping it brings good luck!!!! It is tough with her clothes...I mean, we get one article of clothing with some good football winning Gators mo-jo and she GROWS OUT OF IT

We have just bought a house (our first!) and I am trying to decide which bathroom to make the Gator Bathroom...hmmmm...should the walls be orange with blue or blue with orange...so many decisions

We are a no TV house, but DD will be watching Game Day with me soon...

I've been stalking ebay all winter for cheerleader uniforms when no one else is buying them!!! This is how we do it in my house... our "ultimate" SEC goal is to have LSU and UGA play in the SEC champ... that makes for the funnest rivlary between dh and me.

ANyway, cheerleader outfits get worn on Fridays and Saturdays. If LSU or GA is off that weekend, then the playing team's colors gets worn by all 3 of them. If it's a HUGE game for 1 team (like GA/FLA Weekend, the all 3 will wear GA. Otherwise, the kids get to pick. My oldest always picks the Dawgs, and my middle always picks the tigers... and I still get to dress the baby, LOL

I think they will be cheerleaders for Halloween too.. gotta get a lot of mileage out of thise outfits!!!!!

MIL bought DS a Bama outfit, but she bought it way too big. Gee, too bad he won't be able to wear it!

The Vols outfit I bought for DS last year still fits him, so his only option is to wear orange on Saturdays. Wonder is DH will buy that?

So we moved into our new house this week and put our Gator flag up outside our house. About 3 hours later, we have a knock on the door and there are our new next door neighbors. They brought a housewarming gift of banana bread and a 2006 Gator Media Guide! Gators next door! YAHOOOOO

We need to get schedules posted! When are the big games this year??

I'm looking forward to reading the Atlanat paper tomorrow. They always do a huge SEC sports section the Sun before football season starts. I save it for the schedules and to read up on the teams. until I read that, I am pretty cluless
