usually on swaps on the TP you include a note that says who the package is from. then when you get a package you send a thank you to them on this thread.

I can't wait! This'll be fun. I'm going to start getting stuff together this week, and mail hopefully by the beginning of next week at the latest.

I think it would be nice to reveal ourselves in a little note in the package- one more way of getting to know each other! and of course, we all want to know what people get, on this thread!

Thanks, memory maker! I am sure that I will enjoy it!

I, too had fun shopping for my person. I wanted to buy so much stuff for her; it was hard to limit myself. It's cool to feel connected to another preg. person due the same month as me, going through similar stuff and being able to connect with by gift giving (beyond online stuff). I just totally appreciate this community so much.

Super cool idea, Amy! Thanks, again for getting it together.

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

Amy, you are SO together! I can't believe I got my package already!! I love everything- you chose so well! The candle and incense are exactly the kind I like, and it's so funny- I buy Burt's Bees stuff for everyone else and rarely for myself- so I finally have some for me and the babe And now I can continue reading the series of books I am enjoying (for anyone who is looking for books to read- The No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency books by Alexander McCall Smith are great, easy reading!)

And as an added bonus, ds luvs the packing peanuts so I'm going to keep it as a rainy day acitivity for him- hee hee hee!

This is so much fun! I hope we can do it again.

I am almost ready to mail my package- hopefully by tommorrow or Wed.

I am really glad we all decided to do this!

Such is my dilemma as well. I spent $20 but there were like 5 more things I wanted to get. I won't be able to get to the P.O until Thursday because of my work schedule but I'll post again when I mail it.

Wow, it was like I had forgotten how to sew! I did a sample of the item I was making for my swap partner (fabric not as cute ) that I figured I would keep for my baby. But man...I jammed that machine so many times! Good thing I did the sample first. I think the last time I seriously sewed was when I made DS' halloween costume and before that I used to be a sewaholic. So thanks for doing the swap and giving me a reason to get bit by the bug again. DH liked that I was hanging out with him in the office/sewing room (except when I was at the machine!)

So my swap partners item is all cut and ready to sew -hopefully tomorrow. Not as much stamina as I had in the old days either, so I couldn't finish both tonight.

Hopefully I will get it in the mail by Tu/Weds. How fun!

Just wanted to pop in and say I'm still here (mostly moved in to the new house, but still unpacking, working full-time, and just dealing with the day-to-day busy-ness) and have my swap stuff together. Hopefully, I'll get to the post office tomorrow.

I'm still here too- I've been housebound with the pox (not me- the kids) but at least it gave me some time with my knitting needles.

Aww, I wish I'd come by in time for this swap. It sounds like so much fun. I'll be sure to get in on the next round! I'm actually half hoping that I'll find out this little turkey is actually a girl instead of a boy (though I'm almost positive there is at least one boy in there) and I can swap the little blue and white sweater I'm knitting.

Maybe I'll just make two (but then, who knows I may need both!) :LOL

Definitely Christa! If no one has has done it already, I'll probably start another one in late September.

My package was sent today as well. One of the few benefits of working, a Post Office right downstairs.

I mailed my box today too! It was supposed to go out a couple of days ago, but I kept hitting snags - ran out of packing tape, left the box at home

It was full of the cutest, smallest cloth baby diapers I have ever seen. So tiny. And covers and a snappi and homemade tea, even! Thanks, again, Memory Maker!!! I wanted to practice diapering something like immediately! DH and I definately DO need to practice!

My box went out today. Sorry for the delay!

It had 2 boxes of tea, 2 YUMMY smelling soaps, a stack of board books, baby socks, very cute baby t-shirts and homemade cookies!!! Everything was wrapped so nicely with cute little notes (and the cookies arrived in great shape Mary). Thank you again soooooo much!
