I'm looking for a pouch type sling for a newborn that's easier to get on and off than a wrap but I do not want to spend more than $20 on it. Anyone have suggestions for secondhand stores, anyone selling theirs etc. that I could look into? Thanks!

I have one that you could have if you're anywhere near the same size as me, since it's not adjustable. I got it as a tester, so it's made to my measurements, but I never really used it, since I prefer the mei tai. Or you could make a pouch really easily, I'm sure there are instructions out there on the internet, and it's just a single piece of fabric folded in half and sewn into a loop. As for second hand, you could try kijiji or freecycle--I have seen slings etc given away on freecycle.

How much are you asking for yours, Alison? What kind is it? I saw the instructions for sewing your own but I'm afraid I'm not much of a sewer at all! I've never bought anything off kijiji etc. so I'm a little nervous about that but I'll check it out.

You can have mine. I think I paid postage for it when I got it and that was all. How tall are you? Cause if you're much taller than five feet or so, it won't work for you, unless you have a really short torso.

I'm 5'7"

and I have a decent sized torso (I think)
