We're moving to West Philly in a few weeks and we are looking for an AP-friendly pediatrician. Doesn't necessarily have to be in West Philly. We're looking for a practice supportive of co-sleeping and extended breastfeeding, in particular. I see there was an old thread on this issue, but I thought it was time for an update! Thanks for your input!

We use Dr. Olivieri at CHOP Faculty practice. She's been supportive of AP (she co-slept and nursed, too), but the rest of her practice isn't as AP-Friendly. It's not a big deal to me, because I always get her for well- visits and they are most important in my book, but we don't always get her for sick visits. I just take the others with a pound of salt and move on.

Hey! I was just going to post that link - you beat me to it. Its an oldie but a goodie.

We see Dr. Soppas and she is great.

I also go to a CHOP faculty Practice-- the one at 39th & Chestnut (St. Leonard's Court building). We see Dr. Siddharth. They are very pro-breastfeeding (posters in every room) and I have not had an issue about co-sleeping.
Their hours are great-- evenings and Saturdays included.
