We interrupt the normal flow of natural health information today to bring you an urgent message about free speech and "thought crimes" in America. The U.S. Senate is about to pass a law that would criminalize merely thinking thoughts in support of the U.S. Constitution, or against the war on Iraq, or against any government office (including the FDA). All across the internet, top bloggers, authors and commentators are expressing their deep concerns about this new "anti-terrorism" law and how it could plunge America into police state tyranny.

Here's a MUST-SEE video featuring a recent lecture by Naomi Wolfe. You must watch this if you care about your freedom! It's an extraordinary look at how history is repeating itself in America today. Click this link to view it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RjALf12PAWc

This is a frightening time in America today. You are witnessing and living through the downfall of a free nation and the rise of a fascist state superpower. Read the first story below to inform yourself now about what's really happening to our freedoms and Constitutional rights in America today. This is no conspiracy theory, it's a genuine U.S. Senate bill that's about to be voted on!

Ugh. Great.

I was surprised to see that the writer of the story, a regular contributer for newstarget.com, supports Ron Paul.

Since he supports Ron Paul, I'm not surprised to see that he considers rense. com a legitimate news source.

rense . com is a bigoted hate site. And he links to it, along with referring to it as an "information source you know and trust."

Someone was posting about this on another forum I'm on, maybe a few days ago or so. She was pretty worked up about it, and thought it was a really scary bill...but none of us really saw the issues that she did.

Apparently, I'm not American so take this with a grain of salt, the consensus from those of us who read the link she gave, was that the bill was to set up an enquiry (not the word I want to use but it's what came to mind) to look into HOW terrorist organizations work, train, think, etc...so that they can better defend themselves against terrorism. There was nothing in there that would be any real threat to anyone's freedom. Simply asking for a bill to set up a 'study group' kind of thing. Which makes total sense, IMO, I mean in situations like the ones our world faces these days - you really need to know your enemy in order to know how to defend yourself.

Maybe I'm totally offbase, but just thought I'd pipe in.

It's a bill that establishes a commission to study homegrown terrorism. It doesn't actually make any laws regarding free speech, blogging, etc. It's presently in Committee.
