I feel bad complaining about still being pregnant since I'm only 37 weeks, but I've officially been pregnant longer than I was with my daughter and I'm TIRED!!! I wanna meet my baby!!!

So I had the doctor check my cervix today, I am 3 cm dilated and 80% effaced...I plan on doing a lot of baby dancing, walking, climbing stairs, trying to get my 2 year old to nurse, etc...I just want this baby to be BORN!!!!

Nice to have some of the work done before labor! Good luck! I am 37 weeks this week and I have already been thinking about that...what can I do to speed this guy up? I don't think I can wait for 40+, this is just too exciting/scary/exciting to wait for---sending you labor vibes!!

Lots of happy labor vibes to you.

I had my dd at 38 weeks, and am now 39 1/2 weeks and it feels really long because it's longer than it was with dd. Not to mention I've been contracting so much and there was a lot of concern I'd go before 37 weeks - ha ha ha. So much anticipation . . . so I totally understand where you're coming from. It's hard to wait when you and everyone else (midwives included) thought you were going to have the baby week(s) ago!

I am so with you I am also *only* 37 weeks but dilated and so uncomfortable. I feel guilty, because I know that as far as pregnancies go, this one has been pretty easy. I have an appointment today and I want to be strong and refuse the vaginal exam, but I so want to know if I am any more dilated. But I know that doesn't really mean anything, but I still want to know...
