I have very sensitive nipples. Always have. Breastfeeding hurts and never gets better. Pumping hurts and never gets better. I have flat nipples, and short connective tissue. Pulling on nipples via baby or pump huuuuurrrts.
Anyone else? :
This is not about latch--I had LOTS of help, believe me. I feel like I'm doomed to suffer again. Last time I stopped BF after a couple months (and by that point it was almost only pumping which still hurt but I could control the suction and kept it on low) because of the suction pain.
At this stage, I'm researching pain relief options that are least likely to affect the baby. Advil or tylenol won't cut it; it's pain worse than labour.
