I only have a few minutes, but I wanted to briefly check in to see how the other mamas are doing. DS4 was born yesterday at 630am (thank you, Schoolmom07 for posting for me!!) and he is doing very well so far. We're still having to work on latching on, but we're getting there. I love this video:
Very helpful. I find the cross-cradle a lot more effective during the first few days.
I'm sore, but ok. The birth went pretty well. It was super-intense, and I am already having a hard time remembering it all, so I will try to write up a birth story soon. My main issue is nerve damage/foot drop in my right leg. I felt a torturous shooting pain in my left hip during the pushing stage, and immediately lost feeling in my entire leg. Now just the lower half of my leg and about half my foot are still numb, and I'm having trouble with muscle control. Ugh. Hoping for a visit to the chiro next week if things don't improve on their own.
Back to the family bed for me. I would love to hear how others are doing so far, hope we have a LOT more September mamas joining us ASAP (esp. you, confustication!!!), and will try to check in at least once a day! xoxoxo Thank you again for all of your support during this pregnancy!!!
