I saw a few post here somewhere about a homeopathic rememdy for sleep disturbences called serenol....I did a little reasearch on the net and it seemed like something I wanted to try for my spirited 3 year old DS who doesn't nap and still doesn't sleep...ever!

I went to the Natural market and they didn't carry but they had a variety of different things that they reccomended along the same lines...

I ended up getting this stuff called Valerian Super Calm...

does anyone have any experience with this? I have actually only been able to get DS to take one whole does he hates the way it taste even when I mix it in his drinks he catches me....

I am not sure if its working....They also had lost of stuff geared towards the spirited child something called Attentive Child and some sort of orange fish paste stuff

Is there anything you mama's would reccommend.

I need some help!

Thanks

I use Valerian Super calm and while I dont think it actually makes her sleep, it does seem to calm her down when she is wound up. THey also have a Chamomille Calm.

I have used valerian super calm with no effect, in fact, it usually didn't help. I then read that valerian could have the opposite affect (sorta like the drugs that make you sleepy say that they can cause restlessness). I'd try the chamomile calm...
