I have a recipe that calls for 1 c sesame seeds to be ground into a butter. What amount of tahini would I substitute?<br><br>

I would think 1 cup of seeds would make a lot less butter once ground down...Hmmm...I'd probably use 1/4 c. to start and, depending on what kind of recipe it is (like does the tahini mix with the dry ingredients to add moisture?), maybe add a bit more.
