Better than Wisk but not as good as some! Take a look!
I use Charlies powder and love it!

http://www.diaperjungle.com/detergent-chart.html

I started out with 7th generation a couple of weeks ago, thinking that it was good for the environment so good or the dipes. I had HORRIBLE stink issues (I was gagging on the amonia) and ds got a rash after just a couple of days CDing. I searched around and found that it is not the best one out there, but it's better to get the cheap, generic brand because it doesn't have enzymes, whiteners, softeners, etc. Best yet, as mentioned, is Charlie's Soap, but I haven't tried it yet because I want to use up the detergents I have. I switched to an earth-friendly one I got at Costco (don't remember the brand) which isn't perfect but doesn't cause a rash or stink (when coupled with a second rinse, minimal detergent and line-drying).

If you search around the internet for detergent recs, mostly 7th gen is said to suck big time. I personally hate all their cleaning products. Biokleen bacout works great as a prewash. Planet and Charlies and Allens and Country Save are all supposed to work good and be good for the environment.

Problem with 7th gen products is they all have oils in them, which cause buildup and then stink.
