I don't have insurance so please don't suggest a dermatologist. Plus, I've seen countless doc's all my life with no help. I finally got my face clear but it moved to my NECK. I live in FL so it's hot most of the year and I can't hide behind a turtleneck.
I feel like a freak and I know people look at the area because instead of looking at my face, I can tell they are looking at my neck (because I have no boobs to look at so I know their eyes aren't there). I feel like a monster and refuse to go out places.

I've tried raw honey, tea tree oil, witch hazel, alcohol, salicylic acid, benzole peroxide (not very fond of that), masks, ect.. I've even tried milk of mag and epsom salt baths. Also tried every cleanser on the market and then switched to dr bronners (which cleared my face but didn't help my neck). Everything I use is non-acnegenic and doesn't clog pores.

I'm beginning to think it's a diet problem- I eat a lot of fresh fruits and veggies, little meat and not much dairy. I am a chocolate lover and I love my sweets but this neck acne is new onset within the past 6 months or so and I've been eating candy forever now.

Any suggestions on what to try? Natural remedies, a certain diet. Could an overgrowth of a bacteria or yeast or something cause this? I haven't had any infections but I'm starting to think of ANYTHING.

My marriage is suffering because of my low self esteem and hiding indoors except for my backyard (so I do get plenty of sun). I am not confident at work and I am a supervisor that lets things slide so I don't have to confront anyone with my neck like this. I don't want to be laughed at especially since I'm nearing my 30's. I also have a huge exam in Jan and it's face to face with people and I need to focus on my exam and NOT my neck.

ANY suggestions- ANY.. please even possible ideas to consider would be helpful.

Also, I've been on accutane twice so that's out too.

I just got done watching some documentaries on the sad diet (standard american diet) and how one of the problems was acne related to a animal fat diet. Regardless if you eat white meat, chicken, turkey it is all just as fatty as red meat there's no difference. And then you have to wonder what those animals are fed and how they are treated before they come to your plate!

You mentioned you eat little meat and dairy but maybe try going on a vegan diet for a couple weeks or a month which would be even better stuffing yourself (no candy!) full of healthy fruits, vegetables, healthy protein, fats etc.

Just an option but I believe most of our problems are diet related including things such as cancer.

www.ravediet.com is the documentary I watched.

Good Luck getting healthy - one day you will be ok, your body is just trying to reject and push toxins out the best way it can. Just my humble opinion.

Maybe you have an intolerance to salicylates (naturally occurring food chemicals). Foods such as tomatoes, broccoli, and a ton of other fresh fruit and veg contain salicylates. I am thinking salicylates in your case because of your high consumption of fruit and veg.

Check out the failsafe diet for more tips about salicylate sensitivity by doing a google search.

Hope this helps.
