Original Post:
So who is up for a sewing day next week? I am not available Weds, and I think Leslie said Tues was out for her. Jessie when does your serger get here?

Mon, Thur, Fri????

I don't know if I could fit 6 like originally thought, what do you guys think that were here last time? Could I fit anymore than 4 or 5?

Meeee!

Like... this coming week? I can do any day {except Weds, right?}, but can only bring my stuff over on Tuesday or Wednesday, unless I bring it over the night before and have Dh pick it up that evening.

I need to buy one of those big red wagons

So how about Thursday? Same time as last time 10:30 to 2. Bring lunch and your sewing stuff.

Jessie call me and you can drop your stuff off whenever. I think I am going to hit Joanns again tomorrow.

Did you get the new flyer?? I got it today. I am so going there tomorrow. SO much stuff is half off! I should probably go to the ATM before hand and then leave the debit card at home to keep me from spending more than I intend

They have interfacing, brocades, apparel fabrics of all sorts, all half off. Flannel $2/yard. Thread half off. I got the flyer today and was all but skipping from the mailbox upstairs to show Mick. He's such an enabler
He told me to go shopping, have fun.

I need to drop one or both of my sewing machines off to be serviced tomorrow, but I think I'll bring the serger on Thursday. I can't figure out how to secure the ends where you start and stop, to keep the threads from coming loose. Can you or Leslie show me how to do that?

I'm not the best at it but I either unravel the end and tie a not. I don't like how it looks when you turn it back under the thread or I use the glue seam stuff. Can't remember what its called... Unravel stuff.

I'll bring what I have. I got a bunch of patterns from gw for cheap so not sure if the pattern is all there, most of them looked like it.

Thank you for the reminder! I had forgotten. If you go here and mouse over the different fabrics it gives a short description. I think I have a link to a fabric glossary somewhere, too. Just have to dig it up again.

I think we'll be coming tomorrow. We got home late {btw, Allison, I need to get your number again. This morning I tried to call when I realized we would be late, but the number in my phone is for a government office
} ~ wound up going to a movie after we ran our errands. I think Mick is going to bring the serger over in the morning before he goes to work. He won't wake you or anything ~ if he brings it over he'll leave the box outside either on the porch or at the side of the house.
