Hi!

I really hope no one minds my posting here....most everyone in my due date club (April) has now had their babies and I'm not sure if anyone is checking in their much now. I'm going to X-post.

I just wondered if anyone has had anything similar going on....
I'm getting sharp stabbing type pains (nothing unbearable but definitely uncomfortable) way down low. It happens sometimes during the day but mostly in the evening. Do you think that it is just the baby gettting really low and maybe pushing against something like my bladder? It's usually right when there is a big movement.

I don't have any uncomfortable feelings during urination or anything. It wouldn't be anything serious like an infection would it? It's mostly just accompanied by the baby moving and then a really sharp pain that lasts a couple of seconds.

Thoughts? Normal?

I have a couple different sharp pains I feel.

One is the feeling that my pubic bone is gonna separate in half at anytime. Happens all the time.

The other is when baby flings its little arms around down low. It is often a sharp pain enough to make me make a sound... and then to get everyone running to me cos' they think preggers is suddenly in full blown labour

I've had lots of that, and I think there was a thread about the same (or maybe it came up in a general thread) on our DDC here, with lots of us reporting having it. Someone mentioned that it is described on spinningbabies.com as being possibly the breakdown of fibrogen(?) on your cervix- in some way anyway it's baby prepping your cervix.
Of course if you are concerned about anything, there's no harm calling your care provider if you have one, but this does seem to be common and normal phenomenon.

Yes ans yes again! I only feel it at night when I am in bed. Baby loves to wiggle around at that time.

I get these types of pains at night. They are manageable but definitely feel like they are in the vaginal/cervix region. I welcome them!! Its the stabbing belly/gas pain that gets me. I have been eating far too many beans lately.
