Isn't it funny how the smallest thing can make your day?<br><br>
Over the weekend, 16.5 month old dd's nose was running a little bit and before I could grab her to wipe it she walked over to the table, grabbed a tissue, stuck it up to her face, and started to blow.<img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/yikes.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="EEK!"> She did it twice more over the weekend.<br><br>
When I dropped her off at DC this morning I asked her DCP if she had taught her that and she said that dd must have picked it up from watching the other kids (there are 2 2yos and a 3 yo). Woooohoooooo! No more screaming while trying to suction her nose out!!!<img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/thumb.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="thumbs up"><img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/love.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="love"><img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/orngbiggrin.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="orange big grin"><img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/hippie.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="hippie">

That's awesome! Billy likes me to clean his nose with the waist of my shirt. How fun to walk around with snot on your shirt.

No need to suction anyone's nose out...just take a bath or hot tub and the goobers are easy to wipe off. I found out that everyone but me (in my neighborhood and family) knew this except me after two months of trying to do the booger sucker thing.<img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/orngtongue.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Stick Out Tongue">
