guess i can get the award for "most hysterical posts in one day in the aug. DDC" --

with DD, i had pretty nasty nausea starting right around my BFP at 11 DPO. this one, i am not sure when i O'd, but had to have conceived 11/6-11/8 time frame. so that puts me at about 5 weeks.

my biggest symptom has been terrible headache off and on. i have some nausea in waves and some hit or miss food aversions, and i feel a little dizzy. but on the whole, this feels nothing like being pregnant with DD at this stage.

does that mean something is wrong? i have had two chemical pregnancies, but i think they were earlier than i am right now, probably. and even with those i had more nausea than i am having now.

too bad i can't just be happy not to feel bad

I know a lot of people that have no symptoms for a long time. Sounds to me like you have clear symptoms. I think it is so hard when you have had loss to trust "normal". I am struggling.

I know this pregnancy of mine feels very different already than my first. It feels easier but I think I am more distracted. I also think my memory is not as good as I think it is. So I am just hoping everything is fine. But no nausea or food adversions yet for me. I am trying to load up on delicous, healthy food.

Each pregnancy is different. All 5 of mine have been very different. I thought my m/s was bad with my first but it was a walk in the park compared to the m/s with my 4th. I had mild m/s with #2 and absolutely no m/s with #3. I've been nauseous this time around and a little gaggy but not like I remember being last time for sure. I guess my biggest bit of advice is just to let go and relax, enjoy what you can and try to let go of fear. Visualize making it out of the 1st tri, one day at a time. If that makes sense? That's what I'm trying to do.

I can relate with wondering where the symptoms are. By this point with DS my struggle with hyperemesis gravidarum (HG) was well underway, I was receiving fluids by IV and medication at 6 weeks. The recurrence rate for HG is very high so imagine my surprise at feeling fantastic so far and being able to eat whatever I want. I would love to be able to relax but unfortunately the absence of nausea (and almost all the other symptoms I had the first time) makes me question how things are going instead.

I'm looking forward to when the bump starts to grow!

I'm also anxious about this. I feel FINE and it's been a week since I got my BFP. No nausea, nothing, just interesting cramps. I'm actually hoping to feel a little sick soon, because it would be a relief!

Each pg is different. With my last, symptoms didn't kick in until about 11 or 12 wks, but boy did they make up for lost time! I was happy though since I had just come from a loss, so it was welcomed. I'm sure you'll be feeling lousy soon

Haha! Me too! Although I was hardly sick at all with #1. Mostly felt great except for a couple of dizzy spells when I didn't eat and a lot of tiredness. So I don't know if I'll get sick at all but a little queasiness would make me feel 'better'.

thank you all for sharing your lack of symps at one time or another. I have NO symptoms to speak of, save some slightly tender bbs. that's it. and today, they feel deflated a bit. But i know that can happen.
I am still wanting to eat everything in sight (my usual MO) and I'm just looking SO hard for a wave of nausea, some aversions, perhaps the fatigue I experienced last time... anything!

(and last time, my progesterone was lower and I was so sleepy. this time, it's over 4x what it was before, and i am not tired at all!)
I guess the opposite sypmtoms should make me feel better, since the last pg didnt work out.. right?

Me too, EXACTLY! (I actually just posted that all I have is sore boobs and my usual super-hunger in the chat thread). I don't really want to be nauseous or exhausted or not able to drink my morning coffee, but it seems weird to feel so normal!

well, it looks like there are a lot of us non-symptom-having ladies! which makes me feel much better.

though i've realized after reading this thread...i actually DO have symptoms. most of you do, too. it's just...they aren't what we expected. i know in my case, i have headache, bloat, light-headedness, and frequent urination.

but i always think of feeling "pregnant" as meaning nauseated and exhausted, because that's what i had with DD at this stage.

so i think i AM having symptoms, i just don't think of them as being the "correct" ones, which i'm sure is pretty silly.

I'm super-early -- I'll be 4 weeks tomorrow -- but I got a dark +HPT two days ago at 11dpo and I expected to feel more by now. I keep thinking I'm going to start bleeding even though my temps are really high. I feel the tiniest bit unsettled/nauseated but at this point with my boys I felt much worse or my boobs had grown noticably and hurt. It's messing with my head.

exact same sort of thing here. not sure how far along i am because i was not cycling when i got pg, but based on when i THINK we DTD i'm guessing i'm close to 6 weeks? and i feel COMPLETELY unlike how i felt with DD at that stage. with DD at that stage i was so nauseated all day that by bedtime i was crying, and i wanted to go to bed at 8.

i'm fine: working, grading papers, staying up to watch my normal TV shows. maybe i'm a little more queasy, have slightly more assertive food preferences, and i've had some headache off and on, a bit moodier than usual...and i'm peeing more. but that's IT. and it's making me

i want this baby so badly, even though i had no idea i was ready for another pregnancy, and i've never wished so hard to feel like crap!

i am not nauseous but extremely thristy and have an aversion to sugar. i'm hungry most of the time but i'm not really satisfied with any meal i have. i don't know what i want to eat (is this real, cravings for nothing specific?) I'm having trouble sleeping the past few days and am peeing all the time. i have a slight cramp but i like that, it feels reassuring.

I'm about five weeks along and I haven't had any M/S yet. I've been headache-y, dizzy, and slightly fatigued so far. Oh, and peeing a lot more. So no worries! I'm right there with ya!

I have no symtpoms at all, i'm 4w5d today. I don't think I had any with DS2 until around 6 weeks, then I felt like death for 2 weeks and then "bam" felt awesome. Hope it's that way this time (with ds1, I felt like crud from 5w to 12w with an almost migraine and constant nausau every single day.... oy).

Me too KimKim - no nausea, but extreme thirst and aversion to sugar - I usually have a sweet tooth. Other than that I've had the mild heartburn a couple of times and I feel pressure near my pubic bone. My boobs aren't sore at all either, which seems really wierd for me.
