My ds has had this white spot on the roof of his mouth for as long as I can remember...but breastfeeding has been going pretty well except for a recent bout of low supply.

Now I've noticed a white spot--looks round and raised like a white pimple almost--on his upper gum line.

I don't really have any pain during nursing. He does pop on and off but it seems more like a distractible pulling off rather than a "I'm in pain" pulling off. He used to do it a lot more when I had low supply but since it's been back up, he does it much less.

His latch has never been great either which I'm afraid is no help.

Treating for thrush involves a lot and seems like a royal PITA. So I don't really want to do all of that if it's not necessary.

What do you all think--could a baby have these white spots and not have thrush?
