ds is 16 mo's and only eats a few bites at any meal. of course he wants to eat 5 minutes later, but just a few bites, and then 5 minutes later, but just a few bites, etc. this goes on ALL DAY LONG & is driving me crazy. i gave up on reheating the food recently & am actually just putting his plate in the fridge since he seems to be getting worse with it. from my searches it seems like this is sort of a "normal" thing for toddlers.

should i be reheating his food? i don't mind cold food & he doesn't seem to but i'm wondering if there is some nutritional value lost/gained from reheating it. it just gets so tiring since it's so often.

Well, considering I have eaten my meals mostly cold for the past 17 months....

We have the same situation and I don't reheat it. Not because I am punishing him or anything, just a lot of extra trouble, and I'd have to keep reheating it 2 or 3 times for each meal these days. He seems to like it cold just as well. If he complained or asked me to, I would reheat it.
