I took hypnobirthing classes when I was pregnant with my son (now 4 years old). I ended up using Buddhist meditation more than hypnobirthing while I was in labor, and it worked great! Now I'm wondering if I should bother with hypnobirthing classes again, or just go with what I already know.
Any thoughts on this?
Thanks!

We did Hypnobirthing with our now 2 1/2 yr old.

I did the combination Hypnobirthing and Buddhist meditation also. They very much compliment each other (although not blatantly spelled out in the curriculum). Did you notice the "rainbow relaxation" corresponds to the colors of the chakras?? I just substituted it into the relaxation for my own use.

We plan on doing a one on one refresher with our Hypnobirthing instructor (who we loved). That way we can focus on things we want to improve and discuss things we felt could be improved etc.
