Showing already????

OK this is my 2nd child (technically 3rd but had a very early mc in October) and I feel like I'm showing already. I still have the baby fat from my dd from 2 years ago, and maybe it's just that everything is moving up in my belly, but it's very strange! Anyone else starting to feel the same way??

That's how I feel. This is my 4th pregnancy (1 was ectopic, 1 was a miscarraige), but will be my 2nd child. I weigh more than I should, but I feel like I look 4-5 months pregnant already! I'm hoping it's just bloating that will go away soon. Otherwise, I'm going to be HUGE when I'm 9 months pregnant!
I've been feeling the same way so I asked my midwife about it yesterday. She said my intestines are inflating so they can absorb more, so that is the fullness I'm feeling in my belly. It's not a hard baby fullness, I just feel more "fat" and soft fullness, so that made sense to me.
I know exactly how you girls feel. This will be my 3rd baby, so I'm thinking it's my lack of toning that is causing this preggo look so early.
Last time I was over 20 weeks before I started showing. I think maybe I will sooner this time since it hasn't been that long since my last baby. I don't mine though, I loved it when my preggy belly came in

I start out the day looking normal and by the end of the day I am totally bloated and look 4 mos pregnant. My belly is still soft though so its just the food I guess.

Yup, me too! I look like I did last time at 4 months. My MIL is in town and we are waiting until 12 weeks to tell her (I'm almost 10 weeks now). I have been wondering if she thinks I'm really letting myself go! This is that lovely "I just look fat" stage.

BTW, most of my bloating is GAS!! SWEET! DH is such a lucky man!

wow that explains a lot...i was telling my dh the other day that i feel like i'm constantly 'full' and i HATE jeans and stuff that compress my stomach b/c it makes me feel sick

Well my intestines must really be inflated! I, too, start out the day looking pretty normal, but by the end I look huge. I can't wait to get past this fat stage.
Wow, I'm glad I'm not the only one. My stomach is so sore and I hate it if my pants touch it. I wore maternity pants the other day just b/c my belly was sore!!!

I am overweight by at least 30 lbs, and all of the fat is in my belly. I look the same now, as I did 5 mo pregnant with dd. What will happen to all this belly fat when the baby starts to get big???

This is my 2nd, and I was in maternity pants at 5 weeks. The rubberband trick on my jeans was involving a rubberband stretched *2 inches*, so I decided it was time to break out the maternity stuff.

I bought a maternity dress at 6 weeks, and when I tried it on, I looked 5 months pregnant!!!! I'm even bloated above the belly button. The dress has an empire waist, and the skirt just flows so nicely out from that point and then down, so I am super showing in that dress. I decided to wait until 12 weeks to wear that one to church, as I don't want people thinking I'm having triplets or something!

Yesterday, I wore a maternity top. My belly is just starting to push it out. I'm 8.5 weeks right now. Of course, baby (and there is just one) is not out of my pelvis yet, so it's all previous baby fat and bloated intestines. I already weigh just a few lbs less than I did when I gave birth to DS (at 29w4d). I'm one of those lucky ones that gains weight while breastfeeding.

Thank goodness for low-riding pants. Because I am getting fat! Last time I was buying a size up at 9 weeks and was in maternity clothes by end of the first tri... I can see the same thing happening this time around

I haven't gained any weight and am right where I was when I got pregnant with ds1. I am showing already! Eek! We aren't telling our families yet so I had to go change my clothes real quick this morning when I realized you could really tell with what I had on. Maybe it is just from all my gas. LOL
I'm a plus sized Mama anyway, but I'm feeling bloated for sure. This is my 4th pg, 3rd child. I'm anticipating full on maternity clothes by 12 weeks or so and cant wait!!! I love being pregnant! Having that belly!!! And really cant wait for those kicks and tumbles!!!!

still have the residual belly bag o'skin from ds #2 who is now 18 months. I already feel like I'm hanging over the edges in even my low-riding jeans (YIKES). I just bought some new clothes for summer, so I hope I can at least get a couple weeks out of them before switching over to maternity, at least the shirts anyway.
Ugh, yes! I have been so bloated and by the end of the day I feel like I'm 4 months preggo! I have to go look for my maternity stuff because I have a feeling I'm going to be breaking it out soon!
