These have kept me busy for the last few months. The bag isn't quite done yet. I need to put a button on it. The booties still need a ribbon or something to replace the scrap yarn. The bag and the colored diaper soakers are Kool-aid dyed Fisherman's wool. The booties are Lamb's Pride wool/mohair. They are so soft.

The hat is this pattern http://www.woolworks.org/patterns/spiralhat.txt

I'm almost finished with sweater from the Knitting for Baby book. It has a heart on the front. I converted the flat pattern into a knit in the round one. That was my first attempt at that. I messed up and didn't make the arm holes big enough and had to rip out 5 inches and redo it. It's really cute. Too bad in Florida, the baby won't get much chance to wear it.

I love your stuff! I feel like I'm knitting all the time, but I am no where near as productive.

Did you do the socks out of fisherman's? I keep wanting to try matching socks for a soaker, but I don't know how to make socks, so I've been scared of by the fact you're supposed to use much thinner yarn. Do the socks feel much thicker than normal socks? And what size needles did you use? Dpns, right?

Thanks everyone.

The socks are the same yarn (Fisherman's) as the cover. They are kinda thick. I haven't had the chance to try them out since the baby isn't here yet (any day now) This is the pattern http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/P...babysocks.html I shortened the lenght of the foot alittle so hopefully it will fit the baby at the same time as the soaker.
