Anyone else starting to feel better? It was just like people said... yesterday I just woke up and wasn't having the nausea as much. Also didn't need a nap, even though I felt tired. Now, of course, just like everyone else who's gone through it, I'm worried I'm not pregnant. (Ya right.) Fortunately my boobs still hurt like crazy. I was 9 weeks Thursday.

Yep, I'm 10.5 weeks and have felt a significant improvement in the last week and a half. I've had very little nausea (but I did throw up last night for the first time in 1.5-2 weeks, ate out and I didn't have a "safe" food for me and it just did not sit with me). I've also had more energy some days. That's still not consistent, but I imagine in the next few weeks, the energy level will pick up a bit more. I'm anxious for the food aversions to go away.

I'm starting to feel better lately too but it's not 100%. I'm not nauseous all of the time anymore though and that's GREAT!

I had a decent day today. I was still sick all day, and tired, but not as sick as I have been. I am not hopeful though as I am only 8 weeks and I assume it's a fluke or the fact that I spent 2 hours relaxing in bed with food and a book this morning.

Tomorrow is Sunday and Monday is my birthday so hubby is home. I am going to try and repeat this and just laze around in bed for an hour or two to see if I can encourage a couple of good days.

Maybe I just really needed this 5-day vacation from work!

DH decided that I'm still preggers after I ate an entire package of keilbasa, for dinner...had half on a salad (yum) and the other half an hour later with my bare hands. MEAT!!!! He'd never seen me do that before. Yup, still preggers.

Really, unless a cat steps on a boob (owwwww!) or I just eat the WRONG thing, I'm fine. I have to be careful about what I eat though, or I end up nauseous (although, I've not thrown up yet which makes me no end of happy!).

Wednesday, I hit 8 weeks and it was like a switch was flipped. Just *BOOM* no more constant nausea. I still get queasy over stupid things and if I ate poorly there would be bad results, but I can eat! I even had and enjoyed and didn't regret chocolate covered pretzles ... all two of them

How can you be 8 weeks with a Nov 7th EDD? I am 8 weeks with a 11/30 EDD. Or maybe I am wrong and the date in your sig isn't a due date??

EDITED: Oh oh oh, I get it. Nov 07 means November 2007. Not 11/7/07.
Duh. Nevermind. Carry on!

My m/s didn't start until 8 weeks, which was nice, as I could easily be quiet about the pregnancy for awhile. Unfortunately, it seems to have intensified a bit (I'm now 10 weeks).

The tiredness, however, is really subsiding and seems to have been replaced by insomnia. I no longer need naps every afternoon, but am usually up until 2 or 3 a.m., and can't sleep past 7. I figure this is good preparation for when the kiddo arrives.

I have had no barfing for 2 days- this is day 3. I am so happy! I am 8w6d. My boobs are still sore too but I will take that over the barfing any day! The food aversions are still there but not as varied as they used to be.
Hope you are all feeling great soon!

I am so glad you posted this thread. I am started to feel a bit better too. Not great, but not wanting to hurl all day long is a blessing! B/c I'm the paranoid sort I started thinking maybe I was no longer preggers (even though I saw a heartbeat last week!). I'm about 8 weeks and not feeling like hurling all day long -- just some of the time!

I am not constantly sick anymore. I am sick more in the afternoons, but its bearable (where I can leave the house). I had a good couple of days for the first time in weeks. Until today of course, where I puked hardcore in the a.m.

But the point is, I think the peak has passed...

I'm thrilled to say that I'm feeling like a new woman, too!! I have a history of hyperemesis and I've been on anti-emetic meds this entire pregnancy b/c up until last week I was having the same problems I did with the first pregnancy....
But somehow, all of a sudden I feel better. I had a really bad day last Thursday and since then I've felt not a drop of nausea and haven't even thought about vomiting... *whew*
Now if this continues, I'm going to wean myself from the meds and then I'll really be thrilled!

Woo Hoo!
