Ds had his adnoids removed yesterday and also had a tube put in one ear. Initially he was quiet ect.. but that only lasted a couple hours. He is on a generic for Loritab and he is wound up... He is acting out really bad, throwing things ect.. I just gave him his 2nd does for today about an hour ago but he still has yet to actually sleep. He has been in his room for 30min already and wont' go to sleep.<br><br>
WDYT? I can't rate the level of pain he is in when the meds wear off. This AM when he woke up he was crying and telling me that his mouth and ear hurt so I started the meds for the day. Do you think I should just stop them and switch to Motrin perhaps??<br><br>
Has anyone had certain meds affect their sn kids differently? It seems to be agravating his already agressive behavior.<br>

we usually use motrin if we can get away with it. Unless it's morphine, it just makes Linden grouchy. The tylenol and motrin seem to work well.

Thanks! I think after our 1hr bedtime ordeal I will definatly be switching to Motrin.
