Isaiah has decided that he no longer wants "boobies." I offered to nurse him and he said,"No thank you,momma. I'm done with boobies forever."

Im kind of shocked because he was such an intense nurser. I guess they won't be at the breast forever.

I'm sorry it was so sudden and a shock. I can't imagine it ending that way. Anna just weaned at 5 1/2 with a very gradual slow down. I have a feeling my 2nd is going to just quit one day. Hang in there. Its wonderful he nursd for so long!

My daughter Emma is still nursing at 3 years old, but doesn't it not as frequently as she used to. She just takes a suck every so often and then goes back to playing with her younger sister or the cat.
I think I'll take her weaning harder than she will. Her younger sister, Angela is still nursing often.
