Yet another anti-NIP letter, but much more subversive. What is with the people who write to this woman?

Here, an excerpt: "Regarding the whole bf debate and the idea that pregnant women 'advertise' in public that they are, it is not entirely true across the board that this activity makes people uncomfortable; it's just that these are private events that should be kept private.

"Also, some common modesty with public bf and exposing one's pregnant belly should be observed.

"In my opinion, both of these events are beautiful and to be respected, but in private.

"Is nothing sacred these days?

-- Harriet"

Amy's response: "Actually, a lot of people think that bearing children and feeding them is as close to 'sacred' as most of us are ever going to get."

Amy, until she says this: "I appreciate your point, however. Ladies, modesty!"

OK, for the 555,000,000th time, when I'm nursing my little guy, I show less of my boob than the women do in the JC Penney bra ad on page A7 of my newspaper this morning, and I have a helluva lot more modesty than the young babe strolling through Target yesterday with a T-shirt emblazoned with the words "Future MILF."

I am so sick of these people I want to scream.
