Does anyone have a god rec for a signing book? I would like to communicate with dd this way....I've got time, though, she is only 3 months old!<br>

I like the book <span style="text-decoration:underline;">My First Signs</span> by Annie Kubler a lot because it is kid-friendly and colorful and big and has cute pictures. I like that it shows little kids signing everything....it was my dd's favorite signs book.

I have several ASL books, and "Sign With Your Baby" by Dr. Joseph Garcia is a good one to begin with. About half the book is how to start signing with your baby, and the other half is a pretty decent vocabulary section with pretty clear sign pictures.<br><br>

Is the Garcia book asl based? I want to teach sign language to ds, but I only want to teach asl.
