I have several ASL books, and "Sign With Your Baby" by Dr. Joseph Garcia is a good one to begin with. About half the book is how to start signing with your baby, and the other half is a pretty decent vocabulary section with pretty clear sign pictures.

Is the Garcia book asl based? I want to teach sign language to ds, but I only want to teach asl.
