I figured I'd share mine. My labia are not only swollen and purple (yes, Magpie, you are not alone in this) they HURT! I'm guessing because they are swollen and purple, but I'm sore and uncomfortable and I want to whine really really hard. It's worse when I try to walk, and I probably waddle even worse as a result.

Okay, I'm done now. Someone tell me this means labor is imminent, because if this goes on for weeks I'm going to kill someone.

I thought that was vaginal varicosities.
Owie.
I have one... but it doesn't hurt. Doesn't matter, if this goes on (how I feel) for a week I'm going to kill too.

It has to mean labor is imminent! Especially with your EDD at 8/22. you'r baby is probably really, really low. I have terrible aches and pains, excruciating sciatic nerve pain, etc. I always think this is natures way of preparing us to be ready for the work of raising the child because we get so sick and tired of being pregnant (which is quite enjoyable for the most part!). It'll all be forgotten soon!!! HOpe you get some relief!

Oh thank god I thought I was broken! Nobody told me it would hurt anout this part of pregnancy and I've been so worried that something was wrong with my labia. And I really hope it means labor is immenent b/c I can barely walk and every position I get into is so uncomfortable!

eighty, I'm jealous...that doesn't do a darn thing for me

I do not want to think about varicose veins in that particular area, thank you...ugh! And that would mean they may not miraculously get better right after birth, so I'm going to continue to delude myself.

Sigh...at least I'm not alone
Thanks all

Well the MW friend I have said they resolve after pg. So that IS good news if they happen to be varicosities.
(but she said they'll come back next time... IF there IS a next time with how I'm feeling).
