So.....i will be 30 this year, and my skin is starting to age a bit. I have noticed wrinkles under my eyes, and on my forehead, and my hands.

I would like to invest in some good skin care and, and after looking online i am just so overwhelmed.

Can anyone recommend a regimen or products/supplements?

No idea, but I am there with you. I recently switched to honey for washing my face to see if it helps. Wrinkles and acne are a lousy combo.

No suggestions, but I'm subbing! I just turned 27 and I'm thinking I'm too young for the deep lines that don't relax out of my forehead! I need to do something proactive! I did recently start using rose hip seed oil and I'm not seeing the dramatic results that some people have said that they have seen. Maybe some improvement around my eyes though.

Weleda or Aubrey Organics, both should be available in a health food store. Dr. Hauschka is also very good, but very expensive. All have ingredients which are essentially edible and Weleda and Dr. H are also homeopathic/biodynamic I think. I work with a woman who has been an environmental activist & licensed cosmetologist and she is a huge fan of Aubrey; the Rosa Mosqueta (Type 1 of the 6 skin types they put out) would be good for skin starting to mature.

My husband is a homeopath and for a while was the buyer at a health food store body care section... he always leans towards those brands and uses them himself on his face (they have a men's line too).

I've been blessed with both wrinkles and acne - so lovely.
I started using Arbonne skincare at Thanksgiving, and I can not believe the difference in my skin! Every member of my family has had dramatic skin improvements since we started using it.

In the interest of full disclosure, I do sell Arbonne. But I was telling all my friends about it before I became a consultant.

I am 32 so I know how you feel. I recently went to Sephora and had an amazing consultation. They have many, many natural brands...I went with an awesome line called Korres from Greece. They are a moderately priced brand....antiwrinkle stuff is EXPENSIVE. My sales lady tried to sell me a bottle of serum that was 85 bucks...jeez. Also, Jurlique was recommended to me but their kind of pricy too. I found Korres to be really nice and good price. I have been following their regiment for about two weeks and I have had several people comment on how good I look....just randomly so
I definitely think it's worth it.....

Good luck.

No offense to Arbonne fans but I would seriously read the label before purchasing... every bottle I have seen contains stuff *in addition to* the natural stuff which is... certainly not edible, to put it discreetly. Who knows? Maybe in the past 6 months since I've looked at it they have reformulated... but I'd definately post ingredients if you are not ingredient savvy and get some feedback before purchasing.

I will be 30 in July as well. I have no wrinkle so far and what really help my skin is Oil cleansing Method and good oil blend for moisture.

Currently I am using:
Cleanser: alternating Lush Cosmetic Sweet Japanese girl with my own Cleansing oil blend (sweet almond oil, olive oil, castor oil plus a couple of drops of tea tree, lavender and chamomile eos). I use cold process soap once or twice a week when I am really sweaty and grimy.
For moisturiser: a blend of rosehip oil, avocado oil and Jojoba oil (added lavender, chamomile eos). If my skin is really dry I dabbed Lush Dream cream or pure unrefined shea butter.
I use hydrosols a lot...I spritzed them throughout the day or after cleansing and before putting on the face oil. Currently I mixed Rose hydrosol with Thayer Rose witch hazel.
I also put on clay mask mixed with yogurt or honey or hydrosol at least once a week. My favorite commercial clay mask is Lush Love lettuce fresh mask. So freaking good, but it is kind of pricy because you need to use them up within 2-3 weeks.
For eyes, I got an eye cream from etsy that is basically squalene, rosehip oil and some other eos and oil blends.

You may want to check out Mountain Rose Herbs for a lot of premade and DIY all natural skincare products. or stop by to Lush if you are lazy to make your own. Good luck.

Hi all!
You really have to read the labels on everything- including those products that consider themselves natural or organic. Many companies intentially try to mislead consumers with their claims. I went into Sephora and asked them about "natural" brands and they pointed me to what is called "natural" and upon reading the ingredient list was EXTREMELY sad to see them pushing the products as natural. Please please please read ALL labels!!!!

I am the owner of a natural/organic skincare company and am dissapointed in the integrity of other companies- both large, commercial ones and smaller ones.

ME too!

I technically am a consultant as well but have never really done much with it myself, just too busy, but alas.

Yes, it's not as natural as other things on the market, but it's also better than other things on the market.

But the RE9 line is AMAZING!!

I've sturggled with acne and very slow healing skin (damaged skin from the acne flare ups) for 25 years now, my skin has never looked as good as it does now. It's not just the acne improvement, it's everything, the total package.

When I consider the cost of all the other products I've bought over the years, both perscription, normal OTC as well as more organic/ natural products, it's so worth the cost and has really helped with my self esteem.

Not to hijack the thread in relation to acne, but I'm 30 as well, and am starting to feel like I need to be more of a "grown-up" about my skin. I've had acne all my life, but lately it's been just relentless. My current skin care is simple, and I'm starting to worry that maybe it's making my acne worse. I use Cetaphil to wash and sensitive skin Lubriderm to moisturize, and tea tree oil for a spot treatment. I realize Lubriderm isn't really made especially for facial skin, but it's a really basic, simple lotion.

So anyways, I'll be subbing for more ideas here, and if anyone has more great ideas for acne + wrinkles, let us know!
