Sleep crawling??

My ds has been waking up in the middle of the night, 2 or 3 in the morning. Not crying, sitting up in bed, crawling around a bit until I pick him up and lay him back down. Then he goes to sleep. It doesn't even seem like he's really awake, more like if he was sleep walking. It's really hard of me because he keeps 4 bying over my head at night. I'll just lay him down next to me and pat or rub his back, sometimes he nurses but not usually, and he goes right back to sleep. Any suggestions?
