Does anyone have experience with Infantino's Sling Rider?
I am looking for different carriers to use in an upcoming Babywearing Class. Since this is sold by Babies R Us, it would be readily accessible for new mamas to buy so I wanted to have one on hand for them to try out (plus the added attraction of a relatively cheap price - around $30).
Thanks in advance!

One of my friends had one and couldn't use it comfortably. She brought it over to me to help her with, and I basically told her to toss it- they are HORRIBLE! They have a little harness inside to hook the baby in, which puts the baby in a bad position, and they have a tiny strap, so the weight isn't well distributed. And the sides are really deep- if baby is in the harness, the sides basically swallow the baby. I had her try my slings and wraps, and she ended up buying an Ellaroo wrap. It makes me sad- people have these and then are probably turned off of babywearing forever! I've known at least 3 other people who've had these and they all ended up not wearing their baby at all because this sling is so uncomfortable.

You know, I really think I still want to use the Sling Rider in my classes...
This way, the mamas can see first hand that a cheaper, mass-produced carrier with all the "bells-and-whistles" may not be comparable to a simple fabric sling/wrap that could work much better for them.
Hmmm... I'll have to think about it some more, hehe.
Thanks for the input!

This thought worried me too, which is why my plans have always been to include several different slings, wraps, and carriers for comparison.
