I really think I want to get a slingling, but I was just wondering if anyone has a GLARING "NO!!" against them. I have a ring sling and a wrap and various other carriers, but I'm expecting a baby in July and a somewhat stretchy pouch seems like a good plan... plus they're pretty <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/lol.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="lol"><br><br>
Any info on slinglings would be much appriciated!

I have a Slingling. It's the only sling I have, so I can't give you any comparisons. I like it all right, I guess, but I want to get a different sling. I find it a bit awkward to move around with, and it slips off my shoulders-- but I do think I got the size wrong.<br><br>
For me, it worked best when my baby was tinier, and she slept in it when I wasn't moving around much.<br><br>
Slinglings are really popular with the mommies on another board I post on, so you may want to give it a try. I'm thinking that I am not a pouch-sling person myself.

hmm... sounds like you might be a good ring sling person... you can tighten or loosen as much as you want. I have one, but I was thinking w/a tiny newborn this summer a stretchy pouch might be good. Is it ok in the summer?

I have one, and I really like it.<br><br>
BUT.. I wish I had gotten one with the padded rail. The unpadded seems to bother their legs.

I love my slinglings. I have a hotsling too and like my slinglings just as much. I love all the pretty prints they come in too. I have the unpadded rail and it doesn't bother my dd legs but she is tiny girl.
