The conflicting info you are finding is a result of misinformation. It's perfectly safe in pregnancy. IT used to be used for abortions, however it was NOT taken internally for this purpose. The bark was inserted into the cervix. As a supplement it is fine (and I took it.) I'm not a doctor, but that is why there is so much controversy. It's a case of people looking at historical information (which is accurate) and not medicinal properties or applications.

Ahh yeah I'm going to be putting it in my tummy. I might go with a lower dose and see how it works I just thought it would help my gut heal and I'm limited by some more hard core herbs till my baby is born and then till my babies wean... But its a small price to pay... I'm a mom they better not say I didnt endure enough for them LOL

Thank you!!

Anyone else?
