Yeah, we've always been slow. I'm not sure but maybe there are fewer babies due in June as opposed to the other months? Hmm. Not many people getting "busy" in September, especially those that already have kids in school? LOL!

I know I check in a lot, but I'm more of a lurker than anything. (As you can see by my very high post count. )

We do seem like a slower board. Hopefully it will pick up quite soon, because people should start having babies any day now! Who will be first?

I lurk alot, then when I do go to post, something else comes up..Ive been making an effort lately though!

There are a few mammas here that keep our DDC going though. I think though as we are reaching the end we are gonna start seeing alot more threads about labor/symptoms and how to evict our LO's naturaly.

And just for the record if its up to my DH and my body, Ill prob be the last one to give birth here..my babies never like to come out and DH would be perfectly content if I stay pregnant til the end of time, So I am sure you will see lots of Im still pregnant posts from me LOL

For me at least, this is often an introspective point of pregnancy. But I agree that things will seriously pick up soon once babies start popping out and the rest of us obsess over our <lack of?> symptoms! LOL As a 'late' mama with all of my others, I will be living vicariously through all of the early and on-time mamas!!

I agree it's a little slow compared to other DDCs but I love the close knit group of mamas who post on the weekly thread More of you guys should come post with us! Though I warn you, I whine a lot

Well whats nice about this small DDC is we all whine alot and at least we dont get the "do yu ever shut up" look from each other! It's a great support system we have going on here

I do a lot of lurking, but just don't take the time to post a lot. I can't wait until our babies start arriving. I think our DDc will definitely pick up then.

I'm the same. I post here and there, but not often. I used to have a REALLY active local thread a couple years ago, but most of the ladies left. I kind of miss it.
I keep feeling like I'll go into labor at any time, but I know that the chances aren't good that it will happen.

I post a lot elsewhere or I feel like I do. I just don't have as much to say in a DDC, since it's not my baby I'm having. LOL. I keep watch on the weekly thread, but find a lot of the talk doesn't have much I can relate to, so I just like to lurk there.

Yeah I definitely can't talk because I am a lurker also. I LOVE to read the posts though. I check in at least every other day. Maybe I should make an effort before I complain about things being slow?? LOL

I hope it picks up! I just joined the MDC forums yesterday--I'd been mostly reading the WhatToExpect June 2010 forums

Anyway, I'm due June 18, which means I'm 36 weeks along today. I had a few scary trips to triage recently (contractions brought on by dehydration from a stomach bug) but my midwives said I am still approved to deliver at the birth center I've been planning on as long as I make it to 37 weeks (and don't go past 41 weeks, which would require I go to L&D).
