i meant to call my midwife today and ask but i forgot, so i thought i'd ask here to see if anyone has any experience with/ideas about slow digestion.

i don't really get m/s unless i get too hungry. and even then i just feel generally sick to my stomach, i don't throw up. then i can eat lunch like normal, but by dinner time i feel TERRIBLE! i feel like i just ate a HUGE meal, but haven't eaten in a while. my tummy feels bubbly (like i'm gassy, but i'm not actually gassy). and i don't want to eat, even though i'm hungry. i know it's slow digestions (at least i'm pretty sure that's what it is) from the pregnancy hormones, but i have no idea how/if i can combat this. i hate not wanting/being able to eat dinner.

any ideas?

thanks in advance!

No ideas, just sympathy as I often have this problem too. Eat more frequent smaller meals and see if that helps, I've seriously gone to the same schedule as my toddler...6 small meals a day.

I am experiencing the same thing. It is so uncomfortable.

I wake up feeling nauseous and eat something... feel OK for about 3 minutes, and then I feel like I am still hungry but too nauseous to eat. I feel like my stomach is not really closing in around the food, or not really registering that there's anything in there. Lots of air is coming out too, and it feels all bubbly like you say. It's so uncomfortable!!! I don't know what to do.

Same here, I feel like it's all in my throat.
Doesn't matter how small of a meal I eat and it's mostly with the evening meal that I feel this (or it's at least the worst during this time).
