I don't smoke now, but I did in college. It was REALLY hard to quit.

You can do it. Have you tried NRTs? My guess is that they're safer than smoking. You can ask a pharmacist.

Good luck.

Good Luck quitting!! I haven't smoked for quite a few years, but it is such a tough habit to break. You can do it! We are all here to support you!

I quit last summer, after a BFP.

As to how?

It's a lot easier to not buy cigarettes than it is to not smoke the things.

Let them run out. I drew that process out for a while. I'd smoke one fewer each day, until I was down to one a day. Then 3 days of horrible headache. Then just keep not buying them.

I smoked from the ages of 13 to almost 16. I'm so glad I quit when I did.
I know quitting is hard, but you can do it! For both yourself and your baby. Good luck!

I regret to admit I smoked with my second pg. I couldn't quit because my life was falling apart.
But last year, I quit for good- used the gum and that seemed to do the trick.
Good luck, you can do it!

good luck, I quit 5 years ago with the patch - I don't know if they would recommend that while pg or not. talk to your doctor or midwife and see what they say!
