I went to the Health Dept to get an exemption. A friend of mine told me she went about 5 months ago and it was horrible. She never got the form. So I went in all prepared. I had the state docs printed with the phone # to call if I had a hard time.

The lady was very nice. She asked what my religion was and I told her I was not obligated to give her that info. (In FL you do not have to provide proof of affliation or tell them what your beliefs are.) She said, "Oh, well I have to check on our list of religions to see if it's on there." I replied,"I kow that there is no such list for FL." Her response, "Oh, ok." She then made herself busy by shuffling papers on her desk. Then she asked me to reconsider my choice to not vax. I told her "Thank you very much for you concern and your information." She then gave me the form and commented on how beautiful my children are. Easy Peasy!

I gotta call my friend and let her know. Geesh, it's amazing how you're treated when you are informed.
