So this baby has been up for adoption for months--I wish we could adopt him, but my husband is not cooperating. anyway, his brain injury is very similar to my son's, and we saw amazing results with Feldenkrais. I'm going to XP in Adoption, but I thought I'd post it here too. Here's Theo:

My 23 month old had the same diagnosis and I would like to add that she does not have CP and is just learning to walk. She has been in Feldenkrais therapy since she was 21 days old. She is definitely delayed, but not by far. When she was born they told us she would never walk, talk and might not even know we are in the room. Clearly they were wrong. I hope this little boy finds a home soon.

He's adorable! Unfortunately, I'm in the same position as you. I forwarded an email to my husband a while back about a newborn in our local area who had Down syndrome & was needing an adoptive home. My husband was amazed they I would want to adopt. It had nothing to do with Down syndrome, just the fact that we are so busy with our 4 girls already. He was it even the slightest bit interested - I tried
