Snap-in soakers & washing

After reading the thread about matching up soakers to dipes, I got to thinking about this. All of my dipes have snap in soakers. So, I leave them snapped in when I do the wash. Then, I don't have to take time to match soakers to dipes. So, do those that say they can or can't match well not have snap in soakers? I know this is a different issue with doublers- I'm just wondering about soakers. LMK!!!

I was told by one of the wah mama's I got one size dipes from that your not suppose to leave the soakers snapped in the diaper when washing.
One of the snaps came off my soaker and that was the first question she asked me.
So my answer would be "no".
I always unsnap mine, because it seems like the agitator in my washer would be hard on the snaps.

I unsnap them too...only because I've read other's warnings that it could put extra stress on the snaps and pull them off. I'd rather play it safe

I always unsnap. I take great pleasure into snapping them back in to the dipes as I fold them.

Well, I am glad that I asked this question!! I had never even heard or thought of the problem of it being hard on the snaps. Looks like from now on I will be unsnapping them. Thanks for your replies!!
It's amazing what one can learn when they read.
A few months ago I didn't even know what a cloth diaper looked like.
Starting to get the hang of things now. Till the baby come and I have to put the diapers on her!!
