I think it is all about speed and practice. Get everything laid out before the you lay the baby down so you are ready to go. Try taking the old dipe off while baby is in whatever position it likes or standing up. Then lay baby on top of the diaper with an interesting toy and move quickly. It doesn't have to look perfect just do the job. Depending on the age of the child just pull pants up and down instead of unsnapping the legs. I think that is the easiest once they hit about 7 or 8 months. Besure to have a really interesting toy or a mobile they can swat at. My dh and I were going to make a mobile out of oragimi and sticks so it wouldn't get hurt or hurt the baby. I have a squirmer too incase you could tell by my log in.

I have to give my 19 month old his own snappi to hold or he takes the one I'm using and won't give it back. He tries to snappi his own diaper.

Our babies are very close in age! I gave up the snappi a few months ago. I use Bummis snap covers and they have that little flap in the front, I just tri-fold the cpf and then fold down the front so it fits under the flap and and I get this whole thing togeter before I even lay him down. Then all I have to do is put one thing on, kinda like putting on a aio.
